K-MESH is the mesh networking beacon within the KAPTREK ecosystem. Based on the LoRa ISM 868 MHz protocol and the open-source Meshtastic firmware, it enables the deployment of an autonomous tactical communications network in just a few minutes — with no network infrastructure, no GSM coverage, and no reliance on a third-party operator.

Connected to K-OS and K-OEM smartwatches via Bluetooth, USB, or Wi-Fi, K-MESH provides real-time GNSS position sharing, secure operator-to-operator messaging, and data transmission to the K-VISOR supervision platform. Each beacon can relay data from other network nodes, extending operational range without creating a single point of failure.

Infrastructure-free network

Deployment of an autonomous communications network in white-zone or degraded environments. Up to 100 nodes, +/- 2 km point-to-point range, AES-256 encryption. Operational within minutes with no existing infrastructure required.

Ground reorganization

Geolocation of troops and equipment after airborne insertion into dispersed zones. Navigation to rally points, orientation toward dropped equipment, and communication between dispersed elements via a low-power mesh network.

Encrypted communications

AES-256 encrypted text messaging between operators and command levels. Communications transmitted through the K-MESH network or IP radio links, with no GSM coverage required. No data transit through uncontrolled third-party infrastructure.

Multi-theater operations

Connection of multiple teams operating in distinct geographic areas via Internet access points (4G/5G, Starlink). Centralized supervision from K-VISOR with real-time visualization of all positions, regardless of distance.
